Stork Fight the good fight

Stork is squaring up for a fight. Almost 90% of shareholders present at the Dutch company’s EGM last month backed a proposal to break the company up. But Stork is, instead, pressing ahead with its existing conglomerate strategy. Under Dutch governance rules, Stork was never obliged to do exactly what shareholders demanded.
