SAP/Oracle: paying for Tomorrow Now

SAP has suffered an embarrassing setback in its competition with Oracle. The German software company was forced to admit that its US subsidiary, TomorrowNow, downloaded documents and software patches from Oracle without permission. SAP will pay thrice for this transgression. The likely direct effect is small. SAP will probably pay a fine or settlement to end Oracle’s ongoing lawsuit over the matter.
