Hutchison Whampoa’s troubled bet on 3G mobile may be about to cost the Hong Kong conglomerate another piece of the family silver. Hutch has received a number of approaches for its Indian mobile asset, Hutchison Essar, according to a person familiar with the situation. Following a sale of part of its ports business earlier this year, a deal would take another heirloom out the front door.
