Qualcomm and Nokia have begrudgingly settled their multi-billion dollar wireless patent dispute. It’s about time. The size of the sums, as well both companies’ belief they were right, helped drag it out for more than two years. Now that an agreement has been reached, the tech companies can turn to pressing threats – such as a handset growth slowdown in developing markets and the rise of Apple.
