Three of the Morgan Stanley directors that staunchly defended former boss Philip Purcell’s ham-fisted control of the investment bank are finally out the door. Given how firmly they supported Purcell even as his imperious management style divided the investment bank, led to stinging departures and cost the firm business, this should be welcome news for investors and employees.
