Google’s $3.9m investment in an online genetics firm owned by co-founder Sergey Brin’s new bride looks like a blatant example of self-dealing. Doesn’t this just confirm that Brin and Larry Page concocted Google’s dual share classes to blunt opposition to running the internet giant as they see fit? Not exactly - as wacky as it may sound, the investment may be justifiable, if not advisable.
