EU/Lift cartel: Fair instability

The European Commission is cracking down on cartels. That’s good, but it won’t necessarily cause profits to tumble. The latest and largest-ever fine is on the lift industry. Five companies, including ThyssenKrupp, have been fined a total of E992m for anti-competitive behaviour in four countries over a decade.
