Once a dirty word, “nuclear” is becoming more respectable. Look at British Energy. The UK government had to bail out the nuclear power group after British Energy nearly collapsed in 2002. Now the UK government may sell its 35% stake in the group, which is being courted by Europe’s largest utility companies.
